Leather Patch Tips & Tricks

Leather  Patch Tips and Tricks

-We like to use E6000. Other adhesives will work as well, we’ve had good luck with this one.

-E6000 can be found at Walmart, Home Depot and most DIY/fabric/hobby stores.

-When applying this adhesive to leather patches we like to use a glue brush or popsicle stick and spread the adhesive to cover the whole patch with a thin laye.

-Once you have the glue on it, we use rubber bands as clamps to hold all the edges of the patch down.  Use plenty of rubber bands.  Others have had good luck using super glue around the edges to act as a clamp instead of rubber bands.

-Do not wash your hat until the adhesive of your choice fully cures.
